I chose this piece of artwork because I thought that It reminded me of my childhood. I was around this
kind of paintings a lot because my grandma painted these kind of pictures a lot when I was a child.
I also chose it because all in all I liked the picture.

My favorite study would have to be the value study. I like this study because I found it more of a challenge then the other
studies. I found that I needed more help and learned more then I learned doing the shapes and space study.

My least favorite study was the line drawing. I felt that the line drawing wasn't much of a challenge. It
was just too easy. All you had to do was trace three and pick the best one for your line drawing, not that hard. I didn't learn much with this
study.

This project taught me that art is not just a piece of work. Its a combination of lines, shapes, color and texture. It also taught me that one persons' work can make
a difference in history with their art that they do now. That is how this project changed my view of art.

I plan on doing a gummy bear mask!

I planned on doing the whole face in gummy bears. I planned on doing the skin of the face in the clear gummy bears.
The are going to be red gummy bears that are ripped and stretched out. The eyes are going to be made of green gummy bears and I was going to color one of them
black for the pupil. That was my plan.

My Final Project
My mask is a response to what I like to do in my spare time. I did the gummy bears on my mask because I love gummy bears and
I have to have at least one pack a day. I did the back ground a scary movie theme because I love murder shows. The mask just went along with
the theme of background. I used the candy collage background because It went along with the mask. It was also black and white when I printed it out.

The are going to be red gummy bears that are ripped and stretched out. The eyes are going to be made of green gummy bears and I was going to color one of them
black for the pupil. That was my plan. The plan of course switched because of two problems. One the gummy bears wouldn't stay on the sides of the mask. Two I didn't have enough gummy bears. I then decided to just do the features; the eyes, lips and pupils. The ones already glued on turned in the hair that I want: blonde.
I ended up re-doing the whole background because the red paint was way to sloppy. I decided to use red construction paper but then I accompanied another problem: no red. I then decided to take a red marker and cut out the letters and glue them to my back ground.

I am happy with the final product. I had some bumps in the road but I happy that they led me to the product that I came up with.

My Journey was an easy one. I knew what I wanted to do and it all worked and came together nicely in the end. I had one issue and that was having too much white on my picture.. I added more stuff and the problem went away.
The zentangling process is really easy and fun.. you just find weird patterns that fit your style and draw them and keep going until you cannot
fit anymore drawings on your paper
