Presentation 1

I can discuss a work of work of art based on its elements and principles of design.

I chose this piece because it looked easy. I was wrong. I thought that a cartoon would be easy to draw but I have given the cartoon drawers more respect because this was way harder then I expected it to be.
My favorite study was probably the shape and space. I enjoyed that one because you could make it any color that you want. I also enjoyed cutting up the pieces of paper.
My least favorite value study was the painting because it took the longest to do and it was very very messy. I thought that it was the hardest to do.
This project did not help me in any way. In fact it made me dislike art even more then I had before.

I can discuss how an artist purposefully organizes a work of art to generate an emotional response.

I choose to do a bulls mask because they are my favorite basketball team. I thought it would be simple but still look pretty cool. Originally I couldn't think of anything to do but this seemed like a good idea and I was so glad I did it.

I had to put my mask up to a projection so I could trace my mask. I was trying to avoid how I would do the horns but I finally just did the same thing that I had to my mask. It didn't turn out to bad.

I am really happy for the product of my mask. It is the best I have ever done and it is the hardest I ever have and ever will work on something in art. I even kind of enjoyed making it. If I could change something I probably would try and keep my board a little cleaner.
I started out late on my hands because I was working on my mask. It was actually easier then I thought but I had to be careful. When I started zentangling I was thinking how I can just mess around but I did actually have to try and do designs. I didn't hate the project but it wasn't my favorite.
